RTE Frontline: Suicide Discussion

So last night I was part of a panel, including Minister Kathleen Lynch and Professor Kevin Malone, who were tasked with discussing suicide. It was a really scary but uplifting experience.

I think we’ve a long way to go in relation to how we look at preventing suicide in this country, and suicide is preventable. We may not be able to stop people thinking of it but we can equip people with coping skills, resources and mindsets to deal with distress.
